STITCH EXPLANATION:
sc2tog (sc decrease) Insert hook into st and draw up a loop. Insert hook into next st and draw up a loop. Yarn over, draw through all 3 loops on hook.

Following package directions, attach safety eyes to Head. Stuff Upper Shell and sew to Bottom Shell. Stuff Head and sew to Shell. Stuff Legs and Tail very lightly and sew to Shell. Weave in ends.

I've knitted for years, but am a beginner at crochet, and this was a great, easy pattern for me. And so adorable! I love this little guy and will be making more. I too opted to stitch on the eyes--beady eyes are cuter, but wouldn't last long with my little boy. I'll be stuffing this cute turtle in his Christmas stocking!
