Knit Sundress
Lion Brand® Cotton-Ease®
GAUGE: 18 sts + 24 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in St st (k on RS, p on WS). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

| This is an outstanding little pattern. The overall shape lends itself to a lot of creativity, even for the novice. I whipped one out for my granddaughter, omitting the pockets and exchanging the stockinette for alternating bands of stockinette and lace - the result was excellent. On another I raised the neckline and added buttons down the back, again to good result. This pattern lent itself to the change effortlessly. I've been knitting for forty-five years and rarely follow patterns other than my own; however, this little pattern is so well-written and so well-proportioned that it immediately became a "keeper". Well done, LB!
