Fast Finish Throw
Lion Brand® Jiffy®
GAUGE: 4 stitches = 4 in. [10 cm] in Stockinette stitch (knit on right side, purl on wrong side) with 5 strands of yarn held together. Due to the nature of the fabric when working with Speed Stix, gauge may vary throughout.
EXACT GAUGE IS NOT ESSENTIAL FOR THIS PROJECT.
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

AFGHAN
With 2 strands each of A and B and 1 strand of C held together cast on 34 stitches.
Row 1 (right side): Knit.
Row 2: Purl.
Repeat Rows 1 and 2 until Afghan measures 54 in. [137 cm] from beginning. Bind off.
FINISHING
Weave in ends.
Fringe
For each fringe, cut a strand of each yarn 20 in. (51 cm). Hold strands together and fold in
half. With crochet hook, draw fold through edge of piece forming a loop. Pull ends of fringe through
loop and tighten. Place fringes evenly along first and last rows of Afghan. Trim fringe ends evenly.
