Lion Brand® Moonlight Mohair
GAUGE: 5 sts + 5 rows = 4 in. [10 cm] in St st (k on RS, p on WS) with 3 strands of yarn held together. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: GAUGE5 sts + 5 rows = 4 in. [10 cm] in St st (k on RS, p on WS) with 3 strands of yarn held together. Due to the nature of the fabric when working with Speed Stix, gauge may vary throughout the knitting and is not crucial to this project.

SHRUG
With 3 strands of yarn held together, cast on 34 sts. Work in St st until piece measures 32 in.
[81.5 cm] from beginning. Bind off.
Finishing
Fold piece in half with RS together, as shown in diagram. Sew side seams, leaving 7 in. [18 cm]
open at each side for armholes. Weave in ends. |

| I finished this shrug last night using three strands of homespun knitted together. I am fairly new to knitting, and it took me about two hours to complete. I love the end result and will use this pattern in the future; however, I will definitely add a ribbed border next time around. Highly recommended if you are looking for a quick and easy gift.
