Honor the member of the police force (or the child who dreams of being one) with this special Wool-Ease throw. Each block is stitched in a solid color after which the images are created with duplicate or cross stitch.
Crochet Version shown.
Please Note: The graphs for this pattern were created in color and you may not be able to read them if printed in black and white
The pattern for the badge was inadvertently omitted from the first printing of the pattern. (both Knit and Crochet Versions). There are also corrections to the graphs for the police station and whistle, as well as a number of minor versions to both the crochet and knitted versions..
The above is only a summary of corrections; the corrected pattern text is below (if free) or shipped upon completion of order (if purchased)
18 sts + 24 rows = 4" (10 cm) in St st (k on RS, p on WS). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
