Foundation ring: Using A, ch 8, join with ss to form a ring.
Round 1 (RS): Ch 4 (counts as first tr), 5 tr into ring, ch 3, [6 tr in ring, ch 3] 3 times, join with ss to top of beg ch-4. (24 tr and 4 ch-3 sp)
Round 2: Work beg 5-tr cl, ch 5, skip next ch, ss in next ch, ch 5, * work 6-tr cl, ch 5, skip next ch, ss in next ch, ch 5; rep from * twice more, join with ss to top of beg 5-tr. (4 cl)
Fasten off A. Join B with ss at top of any cluster.
Round 3: Working around next 2 ch-5 sp and next ss, [3 tr, ch 1, 3 tr, ch 2, 3 tr, ch 1, 3 tr] in next ch-3 sp on Round 1, *ss in top of next cl on Round 2, working around next 2 ch-5 sp and next ss, [3 tr, ch 1, 3 tr, ch 2, 3 tr, ch 1, 3 tr] in next ch-3 sp on Round 1; rep from * twice more, join with ss to first ss.
Fasten off B. Join C with ss to any corner ch-2 sp.
Round 4: Ch 4 (5 tr, ch 2, 6 tr) in sp at base of ch, skip next 6 tr, 6 tr in next ss, *skip next 6 tr, [6 tr, ch 2, 6 tr] in next ch-2 sp, skip next 6 tr, work 6 tr in next ss; rep from * twice more, skip last 6 tr, join with ss to beg ch-4.
