I am loving this beautiful, colourful, chunky yarn. It is so easy to knit with and the colours keep changing right before my eyes as I knit the rows. The yarn helps the needles to glide as the pattern and colours really reveal a beautiful growing 'Wellness Weave'. This Afghan or 'Wrap' will be a gift and I know the recipient will love it. The price is great and so are the Lionbrand sales. This yarn makes knitting a breeze and a colourful relaxing experience.
I enjoy working with chunky yarn. It makes for quick projects. I made a simple bag with this yarn. I like the vibrant colors.
Learning to use this yarn was trial and error for me, but now I absolutely love it. Initially I had trouble with it not gliding over my hook very well, getting stuck, and squeaking. I changed my hook to a 15mm smooth resin (from using wood), and it made a huge difference. I love the hdc-blo throw blanket I created with it in the color Stairwell, and have had some requests for another plus other items in this yarn and colorway. The colors are outstanding. I even split a skein to make a couple beanies. I would love to see this color in an aran or worsted offering but didn't see any in search. If you love rustic colors you will not be disappointed with Stairwell. The speckling, marbling, and blending of colors into each other are wonderful... perfect The squish factor is also great on my finished projects. Thank you Lion Brand! Love it.
