This yarn does split a bit when working with but it wasn't so bad that it was frustrating. It was a little scratchy right off of the needles, but after wash and wear it's AMAZING. very light, and has a great drape.
This is a bit scratchier than I expected, but I suspect it will soften nicely over time. Easy to work with.
I'm using this to make a summer-weight tank, and it's great.

However the yarn color fog Brouilland tends to change color when it placed with different colors. At times I think it turn green instead of the plum color it looks like!
