A fluffy scarf that doubles as a hood? Yup! This oversized, cozy scarf is designed to be extra large to battle those brutal winter winds. With cute braided tassels (video tutorial included) on each end, it has the most beautiful modern look.

This scarf is called the Habitant Scarf as it’s a nod to Montreal, where I first saw women walking the streets with these glorious oversized scarves, worn in a way that created a cocooned hood. I fell in love. Fun fact: My dad was also born in Montreal. His favourite hockey team was the Montreal Canadiens, which are also fondly known as “Les Habs” or “Les Habitants” – a French–speaking settler in New France – aka Quebec. So this name has multiple nods to my heritage and the place where I came up with the design!
