POMPOM (make 3)
Wrap A around 3 fingers – the more wraps, the fuller your Pompom will be. Cut yarn leading from skein. Slide a doubled strand of B under wraps and knot. Clip loops at opposite end. Fluff Pompom and trim ends evenly.

FINISHING
Cut 3 strands of A, each 10 in. (25.5 cm) long. Thread 1 strand into blunt needle. Leaving a long tail, thread needle (gently) through center of Pompoms. Remove needle, do not trim ends of strand. Repeat with other 2 strands. Pull ends of all 6 strands until they are even and Pompoms create a shamrock shape. Knot strands together. Divide strands into 3 groups of 2 strands each and braid to desired length for stem. Wrap end of braid with a strand of B, then trim ends evenly.
Cut a 24 in. (61 cm) strand of B. Wrap B strand several times around top of braided stem, then thread strand into blunt needle and embroider a lazy daisy stitch onto each Pompom.
Knot off strand on the back of Shamrock, then glue on pin back.
