Camelot Hat
Lion Brand® Alpine Wool
GAUGE: 13 sts = 4 in. (10 cm) in St st worked in the rnd (k every rnd). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

This knit up extremely quickly in about two hours. I used Lion Brand Kool Wool yarn (had some leftover - this yarn has been discontinued). It is a 5 weight yarn, which is considered bulky, one step above worsted weight. The yarn that they call for is also a bulky weight yarn, so if using worsted weight, I would cast on about 10-20 more stitches, or double the strands with worsted weight, use much larger needles, and only cast on about 40-46 stitches.
I knit it on 10 1/2 needles and cast on 60. It fit perfectly and was plenty loose enough. It is important not to knit too tightly - keep a very relaxed stitch throughout.
I am a fan of super quick and cute patterns, so I loved this!
