Seed Stitch Hat
Lion Brand® Cotton-Ease®
GAUGE:
20 sts = about 4 in. (10 cm) in Seed Stitch. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Seed Stitch Hat Reviewed by Bill Basler on 2011-08-03
I made a hat similar to this only I used a #9-16" loop needle. I made the rib stitch 90 sts about 1.5 " the added 1 st for the seed stitch. The odd number of stitches kept the seed st working when working in the round.I made the seed stitch 8" before beginning to close the top. Then used double pointed needles to close the top.
