Waffle Stitch Crochet Scarf
Lion Brand® Wool-Ease®
GAUGE:
16 sts + 9 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) over Waffle Pattern. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION:
FPDC (front post double crochet) Yo, insert hook from front to back then to front, going around the dc post, draw up a loop, (yo and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice. Skip st behind the FPDC.

I agree. This pattern makes a beautiful warm scarf. My personal preference was to finish with a slip stitch instead of double crocheting. I also made one with Red Heart Super Saver and a 7 oz ball was plenty. I definately will be making more of these. Thanks for the pattern!
