Windy City Tote
Lion Brand® Fishermen's Wool®
GAUGE: 16 sts + 20 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in St st (k on RS, p on WS) before felting. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

| I'm not finished knitting this yet but I wish I would have thought this through a little better before I started. Having an odd number of rows for each color is bogging me down because I can't just carry the color I'm not using up the side. If I do this again, i'll probably adjust the number of rows to 6 of one color then 4 of the other. It'll be a different look but I think it will knit up faster. It is my first felting project so I can't wait to get to that part. I've seen some good tips about making the handles wider and felting by hand since I have a front loading machine.
