Curly Scarf
Lion Brand® Vanna's Choice®
GAUGE:
13 dc = 4 in. (10 cm).
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES:
If you wish curls of Scarf to be symmetrical, work Scarf in two halves.
For each half, ch 90, then work Rows 1-4 as for Scarf.
Sew halves together so that each half curls away from the center back.
Continue with Finishing as for one piece Scarf.

Curly Scarf Reviewed by Candace Yoshioka on 2012-10-06
Love this pattern! I have only made it once but with the holidays coming up, I am making a trip to Lion Brand next week to stock up for this and a few other patterns. It was a bit long and with the thickness of the yarn and the curls wrapping it repeatedly around your neck kinda gives that Shakespearean look. I actually finished it and then took it apart to make it a bit shorter. My sister's dog really loved the scarf too and will snuggle into mine and let me wrap him in it! I am temped to make a doggie size for him!
