Pattern was SO confusing. Had to take it out multiple times...very frustrating!

The piattern is abit confusing and the sleeves don't look nearly as long as the ones in the picture which leads me to believe some rows were left out of the pattern.

I've made this twice. The second time really really watching the pattern and counting the stitches. I am a more advanced crocheter, so this should be a piece of cake for me. Both times the recipients loved the piece, but it doesn't come together quite right and requires creative modifications to make it even the slightest bit wearable.

Yes, I agree w/the above - this is a confusing pattern. I've barely started and I've already taken it out three times!!! Not fun!! Beautiful sweater so I hope my finished product looks as lovely as the model. For future crocheters, it would be great to have someone rewrite this pattern. I've been crocheting over 50 years so I'm not a rookie.
