Made the Lacy Cocoon Cardi as shown on Lion Brand yarn. What a great piece and the weight is just right for Houston’s hot weather. It’s very swanky and sexy and easy to make. It feels like silk and looks even better. Will make more to give to friends for vacation. The yarn is very easy to work with and the color is perfect for everything.
This yarn has such lovely colors and works up beautifully. I would have preferred more blue overall, but the colors work well enough for the shawl I’m crocheting with it. It’s my first time using fingering weight yarn so it takes a bit to get used to, but it is coming together nicely. This is not finished, but about half done.
The colors are gorgeous in the skein, I only wish I worked with this weight about 20 yrs ago when my eyes were better! I have just started the Country Sunset Top (6 rows in) and have concluded this will be a project i work in between other quicker/easier projects. And by easier, I just mean my ability to work with this yarn as compared to others. I think it will be a nice top when completed. Will come back and add to this when done if the review is still around!
I love this yarn, using it to make market bags and maybe one day a top.
And exactly what i was looking for to complete this current project. This is an early picture but its coming along nicely!
While I haven’t completed the project yet, this yarn in “Harmony” makes a great mermaid dress for my daughter! Nice, soft yarn and easy to maintain.
