Positives:
This is my first time using this yarn, and it is my new favorite cotton! I've found maybe 3 factory knots in the 6 skeins I've used so far, which is not bad at all. The cotton itself is so soft and smooth! I bought 12 skeins of Cool Breeze for the Wanderlust beach cover kit, and it's turning out great so far! I love how the color changes work up. It has amazing drape for garments and lace.
Negatives:
The yarn in person is a bit more vibrant than the online photos. Still very pretty, but I was expecting softer/pastel colors. My other issue is they don't clearly state that the variegated and glitter options have fewer yardage than the solids other than the photo of the label, and I ended up paying more for the same amount of yarn than if I would have used a solid instead.
Overall, very good yarn! I won't dock a point for the price difference since that is not the yarn's issue. Definitely would recommend this yarn!
I have used 24-7 for a long time & it has become my favorite for kitchen & decorations. I am currently working on 112 mini pumpkins for my Grandson's wedding in October.
This is my first time buying from Lion brand and I’ll definitely be back. The 100% cotton is so soft and I enjoy working with it. The color I got looks just like the online listing and works up beautifully.
I love Lion Brands 24/7 cotton yarn and decided to try the DK cotton. I absolutely love this yarn for wearables! It’s light weight and easy to crochet with and has a decent yardage and grams. I would love there to be more colors but overall love the yarn!!
I was very disappointed in this order. Two of the skeins began with numerous 3 to 5 ft. pieces. My baby sweater would have been nothing but connecting knots had I not ordered extra yarn. My suggestion is to only buy this yarn if you can examine how many “ends” start the skein.
