Beautiful, simple pattern

I’m new to crochet and wanted to try a sweater pattern. The instructions are clear and easy to follow and the illustrations really help for beginners.

Using TruBoo navy for the panels. I’m not finished yet, but loving the way it is turning out so far.

Looking for a light weight top to wear to summer luncheon

This top worked up very nicely. the pattern was easy to follow. I measured for sizing and thought i was right on the mark. When completed it seemed to be the correct width and length but the middle of the back went up instead of running evenly across my back, when i adjusted this then i had the same issue in front. Ive tried to adjust neck opening in the back to adjust the fit, and then decided i would try it as an open vest. so far not successful for correct fitting. would not recommend to others unless i see reviews of success.
