I’m still working on this project. I like the pattern and video links to support some techniques. I had a very difficult time getting gauge. For some reason, I always have trouble achieving gauge w the designer’s patterns. I swatched with size 11 metal and was off. Then I tried 13, but that was too loose. Next I attempted 11 wood — too sticky, then 11 plastic— terrible. So I went back to my trusty 11 Chiagoo and am trying to keep a lighter tension. I’m almost finished the garter stitch body. The weaving seems daunting. Fingers crossed.
The designer has provided support to my questions on her FB group. Thank you.
I picked colors inspired by one of the tartans that Claire wears in Outlander.
