This yarn was a great deal for the size of the skein. The texture of the yarn feels like wool which I really liked. It does have little tiny tufts of white fuzz woven throughout the skein but not enough to look bad. I am Knitting a cardigan out of it and am very pleased so far with the way it is turning out. Color is Cranberry (looks like Salmon), 284g a skein.
I love working with this yarn! It's incredibly soft and a great weight for many different projects. I've made sweaters, hats, and baby booties - just finishing a baby cardigan today. The fact that it's made from recycled plastic is a huge bonus.
I was able to design this gorgeous Split Stitch Sweater that's now available on the Lion Brand website as a kit. I love how quickly this yarn worked up. And that sweater is warn enough for cool weather without being too hot. I can't wait to use it again.
Love the Re-Spun! Awesome yardage too. Definitely made my Dad happy being recycled as well as getting a new sweater.
It's in the color Aegean and I used 3 skeins. The only sort of negative is it seemed more like a 3 rather that a 4 but it didn't matter to much. I want to purchase more and of different types. Please keep making this! And yes I corrected the collar on the sweater lol.
I first bought this yarn in November 2023 and it has become my very favorite yarn. I love it so much that I've made 2 sweaters, a hat and I'm working on my next sweater. It's light and comfortable to wear - not scratchy at all - and I really like the light heathering effect that the yarn produces.
Can't wait to work with more of this yarn. I was happy with how soft it is for a recycled polyester. I ordered the color blush. My next color to get will be a green. So much yardage and the care for this yarn is easy.
