I love my new size 35 knitting needles. The surface is smooth and stitches slide off nicely. My only complaint is that I wished the needles' length were longer as it can be hard to keep the stitches from a thicker yarn to fit on shorter needles.
I have a few sets of straight needles, and these are truly super light in comparison. They're light, but still strong, and will do the trick.
These "speed sticks" are beyond fabulous for quickly knitting large pieces, or even for knitting small pieces in a large format. They were a little cumbersome at first use, but I quickly adapted to their large size and finished my Cotswold Sheepskin Rug in no time at all!
I was a bit disappointed that these were plastic as I could have bought bamboo from Michaels for the same price or less, I used them with Shabby Chic to make a Cotswold sheepskin, but felt that a size smaller might have been better
