Forget about seaming several squares together as this blanket is knit in one piece. Using only three stitches, you’ll create a variety of textured squares that are reminiscent of quilt squares or basketweave patterns. It’s easy enough for adventurous beginners and relatively quick to make with chunky yarn!

The pattern was easy to follow. I made my blanket longer by adding 3 more rows. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the yarn. The yarn felt soft, but was very scratchy against my skin. The yarn had a lot of little fibers being released as I was knitting, so I had to wear a mask to finish the blanket because I kept sneezing from the fiber getting in my nose. Overall, I think I might have been allergic to this yarn fiber. I’ve never had this reaction to wool before. Good thing I was making it as a gift for someone else who loves wool.
I purchased this kit and I’m pleased with this yarn so far. I’ve only gotten through 1 skein so far, but I do like the way it’s knitting up. I purchased 8 skeins for the kit and only received 6, but after I emailed Lionbrand, they were very quick to respond and sent me the remaining 2 skeins. I would recommend this yarn.
This took me about a week to knit. I loved the pattern! The yarn is very soft. The color is great!!
I bought this kit as a way to give the hue & me yarn a try…and I am so glad I did. I purchased the agave color and it is such a beautiful, rich and satisfying color (the picture doesn’t do it justice)!
I am only a handful of rows into the pattern and I cannot wait until it is done!
If you are ordering from Canada....don't. Shipping times are horrifically slow (like, over 3 weeks for one kit to arrive). If shipping were free, I wouldnt complain.

I bought this kit and I love it. Works up quickly and has a fun look to it. I love working with Hue & Me yarn. It is do soft and easy to work with. I wanted to make something quickly to send to a friend who was starting Chemotherapy. It took me about 5 days and I was able to get it to her in time. It is cozy and light weight.
I have 3 family members waiting for this blanket. They picked out their colors. If you are looking for a quick, fun and easy project, this is it.
