I bought this hook because I needed a 3.25mm hook for this amigurumi pattern. It’s the only hook I have in this line, so I wasn’t sure what I was getting into. The hook head itself is more shallow than I’m used to, so at first my loops kept slipping off the hook. But I got used to it after a while and eventually it wasn’t an issue at all. It fits very comfortably in my hand, the thumb rest is in the perfect place, and it glided beautifully through 100% acrylic yarn this project called for. (Basic Stitch anti-pilling yarn).
Baby blanket in a weekend thanks to this crochet hook!
The flat, tapered handle of the Clover Comfort Touch Crochet Hook helps prevent hand and wrist fatigue for both pencil-grip and over-hand styles.
Hook is smooth and tapered enough to get into even tight stitches.
Best hook for 4-weight and finer yarns!
My one wish... Larger Size Selection beyond 6mm for heavier yarns!
I really love these hooks!! They glide easily and make for smooth crocheting!! They last for a long time and don't break when you have a thicker than usual yarn! I recommend these hooks for anyone that has ever had a squeaky hook or pain in their hands when crocheting! The nice comfort grip makes it easy to hold for whatever method you use, the knife grip, pencil grip, etc. This picture shows how easy it is to use velvet yarn with clover hooks!
Love the bigger handle on these crochet hooks. Makes using smaller hooks much more comfortable.
I purchased 3 different sizes and couldn’t believe how comfortable they are to use for extended periods of time. When I get started on an afghan I’ll for 6 hours at a time so I can finish in a week or so. These make it so easy without any hand pain. Will definitely purchase more as these are now my go to hook.
Crocheting with traditional metal crochet hooks have become a problem for me due to age (80), arthritis, and trigger fingers. Recently purchased and used a 5mm Clover Soft Touch Hook which definitely helped with these problems - it was comfortable to use, and I made two crochet items without any
physical problems or pain in my right hand. Definitely will purchase other Clover Hooks.
