I made this shawl as directed but ended up using a size 7 needle. I did not like the size of the holes in the pattern with the larger needles.
I used 1 1/2 skeins of the Shawl in a Cake yarn and repeated the pattern until the shawl was 65" long. The finished, blocked shawl was about 16" wide, slightly wider at the beginning and end because of the scallops.
The pattern was easy to follow and the results very nice indeed.
I will certainly make this again in a different color.
I found the colors in the suggested color, Community Coral, a little too bright but the lady I made the shawl for loved the colors!
