I like this design. I do not like you have to buy something to obtain a “free” pattern. That is not good advertising practices. But the design of the placemats is very well done. Just need to specify what kind of loom you should use for it for thr best results. Tapestry looms can weave dense fabrics, for example, but they do better with wall hanging projects. I recommend a rigid heddle loom that can handle dense fabrics like the Cricket or Ashford rigid Heddle looms. You will have an easier time with the pattern with looms like these.
