Working on crocheted afghan that mimics a log cabin quilt. The landscapes breeze is perfect with the variety of colors. I am a blue person so I chose lagoon. So far it has been very easy to work with.
The yarn is nice and I love the color variation. It does tend to stick to itself at times with intermittent thin and thick strands. And it is hard to find the beginning of the skien from the middle. I will probably use it again.
Does have some thin areas where it breaks easily. That happens with my home spun yarn. Just didn’t expect it with commercial yarrn
I bought the Bay colorway as part of a kit to make the Savannah Cardi. The color itself is gorgeous and I loved the deep blues. I had to throw away the last 1/4 of one of my skeins because the yarn thinned down to one strand for a few inches at a time and after I had to cut and join it for the third time I gave up and moved on to the next skein. I only had the problem on one of the four skeins I ordered. It also bled a LOT of blue dye when I wet-blocked it as recommended in the kit instructions. I had to bleach my white sink because I hadn't anticipated that it would lose quite so much pigment. Overall I would try it again, but I'd be aware of these two things when I started my project so I could plan accordingly.
I am very new to crocheting. I bought this yarn to make a blanket for my grandson. I love the color and the feel.
This yarn makes each project exciting and hard to put down because you just want to see how gorgeous the colors come out together! The gradual color changes look so lovely in not just clothing/accessories but amigurumi too.
