Capital Crochet (Janine Mudge)

Hello friend! I’m Janine, the maker behind Capital Crochet. I dabbled in crochet as a kid with scraps from my mother and grandmother, but picked it up seriously in 2014 so I could make cute hats and blankets for my newborn daughter. I eventually learned how to read a pattern, then started modifying them, and my love of designing blossomed from there! I enjoy creating patterns that look much more intricate than they really are. In 2019 I learned both knitting and Tunisian crochet as well, and I love that there are so many magical textures and unique patterns that can be woven with yarn, hooks and needles.
