1-Teddy Bear Sweaters and 2-Circles of Hope

I found both of these groups quite by accident when searching on the web. The Teddy Bear sweaters are knit and/or crocheted for Bridging People and Places. They have a Bear Hugs program that is best explained by going to their web site at: http://www.bridgingpeople.org/
They have other knitting-related programs as well. I am currently knitting and crocheting sweaters from left over yarns from prior projects for items for myself. This includes WoolEase yarns. I am going to try to use some leftover Fun Fur to trim some of them. I think it would be great for your company to contact these folks directly. They seem to be a great group working for some great causes.

Circles of Hope, or Grannys Daughters as they are also called, are the first round of a traditional crocheted granny square. There is a group that accepts these and combines then to make afghans and hats that they donate to various charitable groups. This can best be explained by checking their web site at: http://www.quilt.com/Crochet/GrannysDaughter/GrannysDaughter.html
I am currently crocheting the circles, and when I accumulate a box full, will be sending them out. They are great for using up the smaller left overs of Woolease worsted and sport weights, because they only take a few yards of yarn to create.

There are great pictures on both of these web sites and it would be great for both of these organizations to get publicity for the work they do in helping people.
Thanks.
