So many needs...

I have learned about a lot of causes that require knitted and crocheted items while searching the web. These include AC4C (all crafts for Charity), the ships project, Bundles of Love, Touching little lives, CareWear, helping Native Americans...and so many more.

There is a basket at my church and we put in hats, mittens, scarves etc and distribute to the local people without homes, also hats and booties go to local hospitals.

I send what I make to others as I complete or hear of a need.

I really like your Magic Stripes in making socks for "children in common". As it is 75% wool it will help to keep little feet warm where there is no heat, and it knits up so colorful and cheerful. Really nice for children.

I use Homespun and your patterns to make shawls for the elderly in Nursing homes and for Native Americans, and I use a LOT of Wool-ease, and Fishermans wool for hats, mittens and socks.

I have only just learned about your new item of crochet cotton, and can't wait to get a ball of it to try out. It should make excellant Leper bandages.

I don't think this is what you meant by a testimonial about charity groups. I have no specific group, media reports or numbers to advise as to how many belong or how much is made. I do know that I help in a little way, and it is a good feeling. Even 1 hat makes a difference, and that is what I would tell anyone who is thinking about doing something to help.

Thank you for making some many wonderful products
