When I was a mere child, my grandmother taught me to crochet. My mom didn't like how she taught me, so she retaught me. Smile. I crochet my own way now! I have been crocheting for more than 30 years!!!
I enjoy crocheting prayer shawls and then give them away. I also enjoy crocheting cross shaped bookmarks and those I give away wherever I happen to be. My husband had surgery the end of January, and I gave bookmarks to everyone in the waiting room!
In my small town, my family does a newspaper delivery route, and at Christmas, I gave each customer a bookmark (shell pattern).
I also recycle cards by crocheting around them! I enjoy using small scraps of thread that others might not find useful!
I take my crochet with me wherever I go...it brings me pleasure, and enables me to share with others!
