Doctor's office projects

Recently diagnosed with breast cancer, I faced many hours in doctors's waiting rooms. Not being a very good "waiter", I decided to begin knitting. I haven't knit in over 25 years because "knitting takes too long". Well, knitting didn't take long enough this time. As the hours drone on waiting my turn, I have made a charted sweater for my granddaughter, a tobogan, and now an oversized sweater for me! During the chemo treatments, I was a big hit with the other patients. Many of the older ladies wanted me to teach them how to knit! With all the sadness and sorrow associated with cancer, I can look at my successes with my resurrected hobby of creating something beautiful. Current project: Extra Easy, Extra Fabulous Sweater using Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick.
