Customer Projects - Get Inspired
Would you like to share a project that you have made from our yarns or
our patterns? Hundreds of thousands of people who care

Silent Witness

I am involved in a committee to end Domestic Violence, and a women's shelter for abused women and their children. Each year in September we have Silent Witnes ceremony, honoring and remembering those that died as a result of Domestic Violence. We have life sized red figures representing all the area men, women, and children that have passed on during the year. We give prayer shawls to some of the surviving family members to help them get some comfort, and to feel as if they are still wrapped in the warmth and comfort of those we have lost. Maybe someday, there will be an end to this needless loss, until then...we can try to comfort the survivors.
