I have a good friend in choir at church that has lung cancer. she has had a tuff time and I wasn't sure how to comfort her. First she had colon cancer and then it came back in her lungs. So I made her a comfort shawl in her favorite color (green) and gave it too her as a way of saying I care and that I know God loves her and is there to comfort her too. There is no magic in the shawl just in my love and concern for her and that God is there with her in time of need. she loves it and wears it alot it keeps her warm when she does her chemo. I forgot to take a picture of it before I gave it too her. it didn't take long to do I was busy at the time so it was about 2 weeks. But it gave me great comfort in doing it for her. The pattern number was 60403 and it was so easy. It was such a blessing for her and me.
