Healing Shawls of Maine Donates Healing Shawls to Cancer Patients
Created By: Cindy Bulkley
http://healingshawlsofmaine.net/inthenews.html
This is from the Healing Shawls of Maine web site.
This story came out just as the Healing Shawls of
Maine ministry came into being.
Since that story, almost two years ago, the
healing shawls ministry has grown exponentialy.
Many people have knitted them and taken the shawls
directly to the hospital - people from as far away
as Scotland are sending me e-mails wanting to know
how they can start their own Healing Shawl ministry.
I have no idea how much time I have devoted to this
project. It's hard to keep track when it is some
thing you love doing. Now the ministry has taken on "a life of its own" and many others are doing
shawls for their family and friends that have
cancer.
My advice to others would be this, if what you
want to do would help just one person go for it!
I found this saying at the bottom of an e-mail
I recently received
We must become the change we want to see in the world.
~ Mohandas Gandhi
I think that about says it all.
Thank you for the opportunity to share my story.
