I came back to crocheting when my Mother scheduled for surgery and I needed something to do while waiting. So I went to the local yarn shop and brought enough yarn to keep my hands (and mind) busy. That particular yarn project became my first prayer shawl and Mother's surgery was a success. Since then I have since made several and given them as gifts.(The latest was a kidney recipient) Everyone loves them. This experience has reminded me how satisfying and wonderful it is to create something beautiful and useful by crocheting.
