How I got through breast cancer
Created By: Tammy Cates

I found out I had breast cancer 7-17-03 almost 4 years ago. When I had my treatments I always took something to crochet and everyone always wanted to know what I was working on, it kept my mind off my problems. I was told that I would never be ever to lift over 10lbs after having part of my breast and all the lymph nodes removed on my right side, I have supprized everyone with what I can do with my right arm and my Cancer Doctor believes it has to do with all the crocheting I did through out my treatments. Crocheting to my is theropy not only mental but physical. Sometimes its the little things we do that make the biggestr differences in our lives.
