Spending Time With My Nonna

When I was a little girl, I would go to my Nonna's house. Alot of times, I would stay for the weekend. I would watch her crochet sitting by the window in the dining room or on a nice day sitting by the porch door. I was so taken back by the beautiful things she would create and wanted to learn. When I was ten years old, one day she taught me to crochet. I have been crocheting since. As she got older, she was in awe of the lovely things that I would create. When I would go to visit her, she would enjoy watching me crochet. I would always bring it along with me. Over the years, I have made several gifts for family and friends. Nonna was so proud that she taught me. I will always be grateful to Nonna for that. That is something that I will hold dear in my heart forever.
