Some Joys of Knitting

Long ago I had experimented with knitting and made a few project, but had not done so in many years. I taught my daughter, in '05, a 4th grader, to make scarves. She made many for relatives and friends. It became a passion for her! I loved it. I became interested again after experiencing all the new yarns and colors while working with her. I had no time for projects, but loved teaching her and shopping at lion brand on line made it easy. In late '06, I started an afghan. It was slow going.I had to have surgery in early '07 and my knitting become my source of comfort while recuperating. It helped me to heal in more ways, than I thought. My lost love for knitting was revived and my project completed.
