My many moods......

I am a 20(almost 21) year old single mom. I really dont drink or smoke. I'm not sure who taught me to crochet but its a toss up between my Aunt Debbie and my crazy cousin Kathy. Anyways at first i was crocheting just because it was something to do. Now I crochet because its a great stress reliever. Being a mom is hard enough, but being a single mom is HARD!!! i hardly ever completed a project up until this past year and a half. In 2005 I was in Job Corps for about 6 months....while i was there I started teaching other girls on my dorm to crochet. I've talked to my counsler since then...thay have started a group that gets together on a regular basis. Another thing that i have done with crocheting is helping other people....I am making hats and blankets for homeless people at a local shelter. I dont care if other people call me an old lady for kniting and crocheting....the satisfaction I get from making things for people and seeing them smile is bigger and better then any high i could get from smoking......or any hang over i could get from drinking.
