It was time!

All my life I would look at yarn and crochet hooks and say...that's for ME! I was just so busy with what I thought was a perfect life that I just never took the time to slow down and try to crochet. Well..my marriage of 29 years fell apart, my aging parents became ill and my Mom died unexpectely, I had swithched jobs and found my self alone. I had noticed some pretty yarn on a rushed trip downt to care for my sick parents..decided to pick it up with a hook( couldnt tell you the size) and... taught myself how to crochet. I dragged what ended up being my Florida blanket from Dr. Office to Hospital to airplane and finally to a new home and a new husband.
So here I am four years later, nearing 60... crocheting up a storm for every pregnant co-worker--making scarfs.. making potholders... and LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT. It was TIME!
