It's Like air, I have to knit!

I grew up seeing my Mom knit everything from Christening gowns to socks. I had no interest in knitting as a child. I regret that so much!! My Mom died when I was 12...I didn't start knitting till much later. I would give anything now to have my Mom's knitting needles and patterns. Always save a family members craft supplies...you never know when they will become another member of the family's treasure...some gentle advice..
I love the feel of yarn,the colors,the different textures and the fun in creating..It's like we need air to breath...I need to knit to feel inner peace...
Knitting really brings a sense of calmness to the spirit...Its a necessary part of my life..
I taught myself how to knit thru books and trial and error. I love making a sweater of afghan for someone..It is something from the heart..Take care..
