helping myself & helping others

In June of 2006 I was in an accident that left me with a very badly broken leg. It is now 10 months later and I am sill having problems. I was very active before and now I am house-bound with almost nothing to do.
I have known how to crochet and knit since I was a teenager. I have reciently started to crochet and knit again. I now make afghans, and hats, scarfs & mittens for local charities. I have a waiting list for my afghans some are being raffled to benefit local charities. Many are patterns from Lion Brand. My goods are in demand and greatly appreciated.
I have been asked by nursing homes and hospitals to counsel and teach others to crochet and knit helping others through their difficult times. It has greatly helped me and I am helping others.
