When I was a little girl my grand mother taught me to crochet. For years I crochet and did very little with it. Then My depression was really bad so I figured that all I can really do is sit and do something with my hands. So I decided that I would make a bunch of blankets. It has helped me so much be able to gain a sence of who I am. I became more out going and my depression decrease. I felt though confined and wanted to learn to knit. I was haveing a really hard time learning it. But wow I have been knitting for about 2 months. It has freed me. I am able to be more creative with the two needles than the hook. I have to say that all that I have made I do not have one thing that is mine. I give everything away. I donate to charitys and even to any one that I feel needs a picker uper. In giving I recieve the best gift that one can ever get. I get to see and feel the warmness in ones heart. I have learned that In everything that there is good. I have learned that there is more needy people out there and that every one can do there part. Even if there is just one thing they do. Can you emagine what it would be like if every one did one thing for another person. It all is a ripple effect. My hobby has helped me come out of the dark and into the light. I intend on helping others with all my talents. No matter what.
