Crocheting got me through my pregnancy
Created By: Beth Morgan
I learned hoe to crochet when I was about ten years old, from the woman who whatched my brothers and I after shcool. I really did't do much with it through high school. I picked crocheting up again after I got married. I just kind of dabled, you know simple afgahns and ponchos. Then in 1992, when I was pregnant with my third daughter, I was put in total bed rest for 7 months. Whithin about 2 weeks I was going bonkers. I asked my husband to bring home some yarn and a selection of crochet hooks. He did and the rest is history. I have been making baby blankets and afgahns for every one I know. I love the homespun yarn for that. I also have been making sweaters and shawls out of homespun, wool ease and imagine. I love the fun fur and the microspun yarns also. Recently I branched out into making jewelery. I use wire and beads and a smaller crochet hook. I don't think I ever sit down to watch tv or a movie without yarn and hook in hand. I have taught my daughters how to crochet and now my 3 year old granddaughter is trying. I don't know how far she will go with it but for now she is very interested. THank you Lion Brand yarn for all the yarn selection, the free patterns and the help you have given over the years. Sincerely Beth Morgan
