Fried Brain Recoups with Knitting Tasks
Created By: Grace Donoho
One year ago, I had a brain aneurysm rupture. After a surgical procedure, I was sent home to recover. Doctor's instructions included lifting nothing heavier than a milk carton and not bending over! What I did to keep busy was KNIT. I knitted 30 prayer shawls to be given as Christmas presents. Each was made with lots of love. The knitting kept me busy. It took my mind off of my health issues and drew focus on others.
It made Christmas special for those who received the prayer shawls and helped keep my sanity through my recovery process.
