This is a stole I made for Crochetville's 2006 Shawl/Stole exchange.
I used LB Microspun in Blue, a size 7 aluminum hook and the skirt pattern from the first issue of BHG's Simply Creative Crochet!
This was a freehand pattern. I just used the basic floral pattern stitch and made the stole the length I needed it. It wasn't hard to make, but I kept splitting the yarn every now and then, but that's Microspun for ya!
I love the texture, it was light and delicate yet had enough stitches in it to keep you warm, but not not.
