A friend of mine came to me asking if I could make something for a couple he knew who was going to have a baby. The only problem is that he didn't know if it was to be a boy or girl. So, I used neutral colors. I also noticed that the pattern allowed for some spaces along the edge, so I found some yellow ribbon, wove it in, and tied the ribbon at the corners.
This pattern was super easy and can be done in a few evenings of sitting in front of the television! The blanket is a great thickness, and the yarn is machine washable.
