I ended up with a really cute purse. On the other hand, the yarn was inclined to shed, and kind of strip away. SO I ended up with black spots of yarn all over the place. It's a good thing there was plenty of yarn because I had to cuts parts with missing bits off as I went. I'd buy this again if I could choose different yarn. Ni fact, with the second kit, that is what I did as shown below.
First time getting a purse kit. Loved working on it. Instructions were easy to understand and more than enough yarn included to complete the project. The color not as vibrant as shown but still very nice. Completed one kit then ordered the other 3 colors.
This was an interesting project. It was easy enough to do, but the yarn shed too much. I was appreciative of everything being included, aside from the tiny screwdriver. I also have an issue with the clasp closure not wanting to click in place. Overall, this style kit was a decent project and I enjoyed crafting. I would like to see other yarns as an option for this kit, that would be fun.
Well it surprised me that they are plastic canvas but I really like them
The bag itself was easy and fun to make, but the yarn shed so much during stitching that I'm worried it will continue to shed and eventually create bald patches in the bag. Which means the bag ultimately will be unusable.
kit is a wonder, complete materials in kit, Yarn is good quality, easy and fast to make project, I am making these as gifts to give to friends to attend a celebration dinner. It will give them a memory of the dinner. You must be patient with yarn-do NOT tug or make to tight a tension or you will ruin the yarn. That being said instructions are easy to follow.
