It’s so soft and so easy to use once you figure out how to use it. The tricky part is sometimes missing a loop, but there’s easy ways to pick up loops if you miss them without h traveling a whole row. So much easier than hand knitting. My daughter made a purple ombré lap blanket, and I’m in the process of making this blanket for my husband’s birthday, and it’s going fast with the jumbo yarn! This is how much I did in just a couple hours (and I’m slow). I have lots of wrist and hand issues, and I’m doing ok. So, I think it would be great for those who have problems knitting and crocheting. I love that these are BIG skeins, too! Only need three for a full blanket (instead of 2-3 times that amount. Great colors, too!
I made some pillows with Off the Hook yarn. It makes a very cushiony pillow... very soft.
I am sure that some people may think this yarn is easy to use off the hook. I tried, without any crochet hook and just could not make it work. There were no instructions anywhere as to how to use it. I finally gave up and used my S-35 (19mm) hook and it was quick and easy. It does seem to have limits on what one might make with it, however.
I love making strooler blankets with the Ombre loop yarn. So easy to work with and the love the different shades.
